It's the Donnie's Life

For more than eleven years, Donnie has struggle for his life and career. He made his first job at the small local grocery store in our town not long after his high school graduation. He never attended to colleges since they're not affordable for him and his family. Thus, working was the only choice which he has at the moment to help his family's financial issue. He worked hard day by day ever since with a minimum monthly payment that he never complained about.

"Life is about struggle, and I should never whine to anything that I have right now. I believe that everything should have the price. So if I just do what I have to do right now with a full-hearted content, someday I'll reap the wealth that I've been longing for. No kidding". That's what he said one day when we're having an afternoon walk together.

For several times, Donnie put himself on a way from one job to another. For eight months he became an office boy for a lawyer office. The next turn he gained an opportunity to serve an accounting service as a clerk officer. After that, he went on various jobs that made him such a multi-talented person. He could use computer, arranged a simple budgeting plan, fixed the stuck copier machine, and also mixed a good and delicious coffee beans for an afternoon meal.

Eight years after his graduation and the first job, he attempted to be an entrepreneur. He, then opened a grocery store which he build from his savings from the monthly salary. It was only a small grocery store which has no difference among the others. But, he has the great spirit, struggle, and a good customer building which continuously brought the loyal customers to engaged with his store. In three years, his business developed from one to five stores, seven to fifty employees.

Aside from his successful business and life, he ever experienced some tragical moment in his life. He went to a drug rehab when he was stilll being as an employee. Abusing the alcohol and drugs was the main solution as he gained the hard pressure from the work. As a result, three months of drug rehab program in a drug rehab facility was something he need to pay.

"It's the dark side of my life. But anyway, it made me for something better", he explained.
